These vintage polarized 2 prong plugs are extremely easy to work with: simply unscrew the top to remove it from the base, connect your wires to the screw terminals inside, then screw the top back onto the base. Done! 

Also, these Bakelite replica plugs are a great option if you are looking for a 2-prong polarized plug, vs an unpolarized plug. These Bakelite replica plugs have one blade larger than the other, and fit into an outlet only one way, so you have a dedicated hot/neutral designation (the larger blade with silver terminal screw is "neutral", the thinner blade with brass terminal screw is "hot")
