I got exactly what I thought I was getting. I have since finished the wiring projects and the lamps look very cool.

    Antique Lamp Repairs

Posted by Unknown on Sep 17th 2020

My wife buys and sell antiques, and found some really nice antique floor lamps that I needed to rewire. This cloth-covered wire was the perfect match for the two lamps. Two recommendations: buy a couple extra feet so you can be sure the cord is long enough to go from the lamp Lo to the outlet; and burn the cloth before you cut it so the cloth doesn’t unravel at the cut. Perfect solution!

Excellent quality and perfect for antique lamps

Posted by Andrew Pasco on Jul 26th 2018

Excellent easy to work with lamp wire. Perfect for high end table lamps. The brown (really bronze) goes perfectly with most antique lamp bases and is much more subtle than using gold cloth covered wire.
