Solid Brass Pull Chain Light Socket, 6 Different Finishes- Top Quality Supplies For Your Restoration or Handmade Lighting, Lamps, Pendants, etc
Pull Chain on/off switch

This listing is for 1 socket, choose between 6 different finishes:

(First picture) Top row left to right: Antique Brass, Polished Copper, Polished Brass
Bottom row left to right: Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, Satin Black

Beautiful, unique and sturdy, these vintage style light bulb sockets are absolutely the best quality around, they're cast brass and have a screw on base instead of the plated brass and snap-on base like cheap run-of-the-mill sockets. Available in 4 finishes, they have a pull chain on/off switch and are super simple to work with: simply screw off the base to access the 2 wire connections inside. Perfect for restoring old lamps and lights or for all of your homemade lighting fixtures.

These solid brass pull chain light sockets are also available in a turn-knob style and a pull-chain style, listed separately in the "Sockets" section

Select how many sockets you would like using the Quantity selection. The more you buy, the more you save on shipping! ($2.45 shipping for the first socket, $.50 for each additional within USA)

- Medium E26 Standard Base
- UL Listed
- Rated for up to 660 Watts / 250 Volts
- Cap base has 1/8 IPS standard lamp pipe thread with set screw
- Pull chain is 6.5 inches long
- 1-way on/off switch, which means 1 pull for on, 1 pull for off. If you're using a 3-way multi-level bulb, my turn-knob sockets will work for that
- Installation note: These sockets, like most self wire-able metal sockets, come with a cardboard lining inside. This should be left in as it acts as an insulator. Do not remove it.

    Socket

It had a small dent that I cut out so I could screw the coupling on. Eventually it worked out well. Nice hardware. Thank you

Reply from SHV: Thanks for the nice review John, regarding the dent, if you are talking about the dimple on the thread side of the shell, that is supposed to be there, it is designed to set into the notch on the base piece and it serves to lock the two pieces in place while you tighten the ring.

Awesome little socket for a nice vintage look

Being an electrician I come across a lot of unique old electrical equipment and I always wondered if there was a way I could still use old electrical equipment with it being safe and Snake Head Vintage had the answer to my question. I love the quality I received and I will definitely be ordering again!

GREAT FIRST TIME CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE (multiple items)

    Posted by L.A. on Oct 10th 2022

I was restoring a lamp that my Grandad built himself, sometime in the 1930's. He was a successful business man, and used the lamp up until his death in 1974. By the time I got it, it was in very bad condition, and I wanted to keep it as close to the period as possible. I ran across this site when doing parts research. They had all of the parts I required. The entire process from ordering to delivery was excellent. Very good quality and I am very satisfied!

Needed to find replacements for lamps that had stopped working. These were easy to install and worked.
