Steel Bulb Guard, Clamp On Lamp Squirrel Cage

Add an authentic industrial look to any pendant or bare bulb lamp with these heavy duty steel light bulb cage guards. Mimicking the style of mobile trouble lights of the industrial age, they are all metal construction, solid as a rock! Easily mount a steel light bulb cage guard to almost any socket with the adjustable clamp. (Please read the notes below as to how these will fit for different size sockets)
- Base clamp screws tight to grip the socket (the clamp is a universal 1.5" collar, and will fit most normal sockets 1.50" to 1.75". They fit great on our "Large Lip Porcelain Sockets" (shown in pic 5). For our brass sockets you will have to clamp them onto the large retaining nut (shown in pic 4 and 6).

- These are an industrial style part, some asymmetry is possible between pieces, each piece has it's own unique character!
- The galvanization process uses zinc to alloy with steel to help protect them from corrosion like bare steel would be susceptible to. These are not quite as shiny as a Chrome or a Polished Nickel finish, but they are more shiny than a raw steel piece would be.

I would have given 5 stars but 1 of the 3 cages arrived bent up out of shape even though there was no damage to the box. I was able to bend the cage kind of back to the shape it should be and since it’s just to protect low exposed bulbs in my basement, it is more than acceptable for the purpose.
